Look for the acknowledgement.
Connect Gmail if you want Apply Jobs to look for emails related to applications in your archive. You can use the app without connecting your mailbox.
Read access, with your consent
Google asks you to allow read-only access to Gmail. The Mac app narrows its searches using application details and checks a limited number of candidate messages. Current support focuses on Ashby acknowledgements; uncertain matches require manual review.
Processed on your Mac
Email content is processed locally and is not sent to AI models or our application servers. The feature cannot send, edit or delete email. Automatic checks require a separate opt-in, and you can disconnect in Settings.
